Cleaners who discover discrepancies can report this to operations. It is only possible for cleaners to report discrepancies in rooms where cleaning is assigned.


The cleaner does the following:

  1. In the cleaning app; find the room where the discrepancy was detected
  2. Click on the room and hold until a new window appears
  3. Select the Comment heading
  4. Click the New comment/deviation button
    1. Select the deviation button to indicate that you are reporting a deviation, not a comment.
    2. Write a non-conformance report and attach up to four photos.
    3. Click Save
  5. The deviation report is automatically sent to the Cleaning Department Manager, who assesses the deviation and forwards it to operations.

Cleaners can see a list of all their registered deviations and comments by clicking the “Inbox” button from the home page in the Cleaning App.


The department head processes reported deviations:

In the web interface (on PC), the department manager will detect new deviation messages when there is a red circle in the side menu, by the menu item Comments & deviations . The number in the red circle shows the total number of unprocessed deviations.

  1. Select Nonconformance management under Comments & nonconformances in the side menu.
  2. Click the blue button Process deviation on the relevant deviation report.
  3. By using the comments field on the nonconformity, you can inform the reporter about how the nonconformity will be handled further.
  4. The deviation is sent to operations by clicking Create work order for deviation, and then Save.
