The LAFT app for the User role (LAFT Portal)

LAFT is your tool for reporting issues to operations on your buildings. You get a simple overview of the issues you have submitted and can follow the progress and communicate with operations. You also get access to documentation and information about your buildings/objects, and you can be assigned tasks yourself.

NOTE! You must contact the LAFT manager in your municipality/organization to have a user created before you can log in to the app.

The LAFT app consists of several parts, and what you see depends on your role:

  • Admin : Construction operations, Checklists, LAFT portal and Cleaning
  • Executor / Manager : Construction management, Checklists
  • User : LAFT portal
  • Dept. cleaning manager / Cleaner : Cleaning, LAFT portal

You can report and process work orders via both Construction operations and LAFT poortal, but they look a little different to the user, and there are more accesses in Construction operations than in LAFT portal. When reporting a case in Construction operations, you can use the roles administrator or performer to set a deadline, select the performer and the type of action. This is not possible in LAFT portal – here you can only set the priority and select the type of action that represents a deviation.

It is appropriate that people have the right role and use the “right” part of the app, because the reported cases are processed from different places by the manager/admin. LAFT portal is also far easier and faster to use for building users in their daily lives.

Cases from Construction will be placed in the “Other” tab in the Inbox , while cases from LAFT portal will be placed in the LAFT portal tab. This is to distinguish where cases actually originate. Once they have been given a deadline and assigned to a contractor, they will be treated in the same way by the person assigned to them – regardless of where the case was reported from.

Download the app

To download the app, go to either the App store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android) and search for “LAFT.” Then download the app, which is simply called “LAFT.”

Log in to the app

Once the user has been created and the app has been downloaded, follow the instructions that appear on the screen. -> Enter email address -> -> Enter password. If you do not remember your password, you can simply click on "Forgot password" to set a new one. You will then receive an email message containing a link. Click on the link and follow the instructions.

NOTE: If you have not received an email, check your spam folder.

Report cases to operations

Once you are logged in, you will be taken to the new case registration page. To register a new case with the operations department, do the following:

  1. Select the building/object where the problem is located (if you cannot find your building/object, contact the administrator in your municipality/organization)
  2. Specify which room/location the discrepancy has been discovered in.
  3. Check the priority of the task.
  4. Describe damage/fault
  5. Describe the measures taken to remedy the problem.
  6. If a discrepancy type matches the case you have reported, you can register it here.
  7. Add photo . You can either add a photo you already have saved on your phone or take a new one. The photo will be added to the case and visible to the executor.
  8. Create case

Do you want to add fields that users who report issues can/must fill in? It is possible for the administrator to add custom fields for this, see instructions here .

My cases

  • Once the case is created, you will automatically be taken to “ My submitted cases .” Here you will find both Active and Closed cases that have been reported by you.
  • You can always return to the case to check its status (whether it has been assigned, is in processing, or has been completed), and whether it has been given a deadline.
  • You navigate via the round button with a calendar icon at the top right. Press “ Cases ” -> Select “ My submitted cases ”. The last case you submitted will be at the top and you can easily add files, comments and images by pressing the icons to the right of the line.

Cases assigned to me and checklists

  • You can have both work orders and routines assigned to you. You can change their status by scrolling to the far right in the table. Once you have completed these, they will disappear from your overview.
  • Some of the tasks you are assigned will have checklists attached to them. In that case, there will be a separate button to fill this out in the “New checklist” column. To see your previously completed checklists, click “Checklists” in the menu at the top left, and you will get an overview of these.
  • In the overview you will see which checklist it is, where it was delivered, and the date. You can click on the “ID number” on the left side to see. You can also click on the three lines on the right to either view the completed checklist, or download a PDF.

Documents

  • With the User role, you also have access to documents via LAFT's document archive, for objects you have access to.
  • Click to the desired folder and file, and hold your finger down for about one second to open the menu. Here you can choose to download or view the document.
