Activate LAFT Pro
If your municipality/organization does not subscribe to LAFT Pro, you will only see buttons and functions associated with LAFT Pro in the document archive, but will not be able to do anything. To order LAFT Pro, you must go to Document archive > LAFT Pro > License (for administrators only):
Here you can read about the terms and conditions, and order LAFT Pro by checking the box at the bottom of the page (remember to enter any invoice reference). Once you have ordered, you will receive an email that serves as a receipt for the order, where both the terms and costs will be summarized.
License
Price for LAFT Pro will depend on actual usage (credits), as well as an annual license.
- For municipalities, the annual license for LAFT Pro is priced according to the size of the municipality (see pricing model in the system).
- For private individuals, LAFT Pro is priced individually. We will contact you during the trial period to agree on a price. Normally, this is based on the number of buildings you have in the system.
LAFT Pro will be invoiced separately from other subscriptions you may have with us.
Credits
Most features in LAFT Pro will require the use of credits. Price depends on usage as costs are incurred to subcontractors when using KI. Here is an estimate when processing single files (right-click on already uploaded file/module folder in the document archive > LAFT Pro): If you would like complete processing of the entire document archive for all buildings, you can contact us for a quote (cs@laft.io).
It is worthwhile to process files already upon upload, as a quantity discount has been added for this. In this case, the cost is set at 2 credits per document/file. This means that you get both summary, classification and routines for 2 credits. If you do this processing on individual files afterwards, the cost will be 3 credits.
Before you perform an operation that will use credits, you will first be notified of how many credits it will cost, so that you can cancel.
If you need more credits, you can easily purchase them by going to LAFT Pro > Buy credits. Only the admin role can purchase credits. Here you will also find an overview of prices. A quantity discount has been introduced, so it will be worthwhile to purchase a larger volume of credits. When you order, you will receive an email that will act as a receipt.

What can you do with LAFT Pro?
- Get suggestions for routines based on documents in the document archive
- Automatic classification of documents in (initially) 4 classification systems:
- NS3451 (Building Parts Table)
- NS3456 (Information Types)
- Fire book
- The "Next Step" phase standard by Bygg21
- Get an overview of duplicate documents in the document archive and the option to clean them up
- Get AI summary of documents
- Searchable images using OCR
- Create text documents from scanned documents (using OCR)
- ... and more features will come later!
Common to all processes done with LAFT Pro is that it can take a few seconds, as these are run in the background. Please refresh the page and check the result again.

There are (currently) 3 buttons in the menu that you can press. Below we will go through each of them:
Document archive:
You can classify both individual files and module folders (the green folders) with LAFT Pro. Routines and summaries are available when uploading, and when processing individual files. For processing the entire document archive, or entire buildings, you must contact us in advance (cs@laft.io).
Existing single files and LAFT Pro:
To process individual files that are already in the document archive with LAFT Pro, right-click on the file and click the LAFT Pro button. This will bring up a few options:
1) Summary : Summarizes the document, giving you a short version of the file's contents.
2) Classification : Here you can either place the file manually by selecting the classification system and subfolder yourself. Otherwise, you can click on "Search for classification", and LAFT will do this for you. To see the result of the classification, you can either right-click on the file again > LAFT Pro > Classification, or select Classification system here: The document archive will then switch to a new folder structure, and display files in the folder they have been placed in. You can easily switch back to a "regular" document archive by selecting "None". If you think the file was placed incorrectly, you can either move it while you are in the classification system, or right-click on the file > LAFT Pro > Classification. This will bring up all the systems in drop-down menus, and you can easily change them.
3) Routines : By clicking on "Search for routines", LAFT will check if there are routines described in the file. When processing is complete, they will appear like this, with (if possible) suggested intervals:
You can choose to create routines in LAFT based on these suggestions. To do this, first check that the interval is correct, if necessary, change it, and select the desired category. Remember to distinguish between categories in Brannbok, and in "other" routines (General)!
Then click on the three lines. You will then see two options; " Create " & " Create and manage ":
- Create: the routine will be placed in the selected category in the background. You can later go to the DV module > Routines/Fire log > Find the routine > Set deadline and assign to the correct performer(s).
- Create and process: you will be sent to processing mode on the routine, so you can set a deadline and assign immediately. Read more about processing routines here.
4) KI status : Gives you an overview of what processes have been done on the file:
There are three different statuses:
- Done = Successful, routines have been discovered, and summary and classification have been successfully completed.
- No results = No routines to be found, and/or summary and classification not relevant to the file
- Failed = Search for routines and/or summary and classification could not be completed. This could be due to an error at a subcontractor, for example. Try again, and if it fails again, please contact support@laft.io so we can check the cause.
To classify module folders (the green folders) , you can right-click on the folder > LAFT Pro > Classify module. This will classify all files within the module in the various classification systems.
The same processes as mentioned for processing individual files (routines, summarization, etc.) will be implemented at the module level continuously.
When the processing is complete, regardless of whether it was done on existing files or by uploading, you can click on "Status KI processing". This will display the number of documents that have/have not been processed, as well as their status:

To see the results of the classification, you can select the desired classification system here:
The document archive will then switch to the new folder structure, and display files in the folder they have been placed in.
You can easily switch back to "regular" document archive by selecting "None".
New files and LAFT Pro :
Right-click on the folder you want to upload files to. When uploading, you can check the box to process with LAFT Pro. The files will then be classified, summarized, and checked for routines in the files you upload.
Just like when classifying individual files, you will be able to see the result of the processing by right-clicking on the individual file, or by changing the classification system in the top right corner (e.g. to NS3451).
Duplicate documents:
This page is designed to show any duplicates you may have of files in your document archive. Only files that have two or more copies will appear in this table. The View button on the right of the table allows you to preview the file. To examine and process further, click on the file name:

This will take you to a list where you can see which buildings and folders the file is located in, and you can choose which ones you want to keep. If you click on the file name in this table, you will be sent directly to the correct file in the document archive.

To delete, check the box on the left in the table and click the "Delete selected" button.
Discoveries:
-
Routines: This is a collection page to give you an overview of all routines that have been discovered through LAFT Pro and AI processing. You can use the search field to search for file names, buildings, etc. You can choose to delete suggested routines by checking the box to the left of the table and clicking the "Delete selected" button.
You can easily see if a routine has already been created from this page. If so, the time and date will be listed in the column labeled "Created".
If you want to create a routine, you can click on the name of the routine/description. This will bring up a modal with (if possible) suggested intervals, in addition to allowing you to place the routine in the correct category (remember to distinguish between categories in the Fire Book and "other" routines (General):

When you are ready, click on the three lines on the right. This will bring up two options; " Create " & " Create and Manage ":
- Create: the routine will be placed in the selected category in the background. You can later go to the DV module > Routines/Fire log > Find the routine > Set deadline and assign to the correct performer(s). Otherwise, you will always find all cases without a deadline and/or performer in the inbox.
- Create and process: you will be sent to processing mode on the routine, so you can set a deadline and assign immediately. Read more about processing routines here .
-
Processing - status: On this page you get an overview of the status of the various processes that are done in LAFT Pro. You can use the search field to search for file names, buildings, status, etc. You can also search for e.g. "Routines", if you only want to see the status of routines.
There are three different statuses:- Done = Successful, routines have been discovered, and summary and classification have been successfully completed.
- No results = No routines to be found, and/or summary and classification not relevant to the file
- Failed = Search for routines and/or summary and classification could not be completed. This could be due to an error at a subcontractor, for example. Try again, and if it fails again, please contact support@laft.io so we can check the cause.
